About the Artist

I wrote this song in 2024. It was intended to be a tongue in cheek critique on modern society and the shortage of masculine men within it, as well as the more serious issue of lowered testosterone due to health issues in society. I wanted to have fun with it though as someone who is neither left nor right and has an open mind and love for all people in whatever feminine or masculine roles they wish to partake in. However, at the end of the day we all have our type and mine is the 'chivalrous Masculine type'. So here is my fun 'Country Rock' song with a nostalgic feel for the old western film genre. Written by Chantell Alexi and produced by the brilliantly talented Lawrie Minson. I brought the song to Lawrie in late 2025 and we had a chat about how I wanted it to sound with a full band. Leaving it in his very capable hands proved to be a great idea as he did an awesome job of bringing it to life and giving it the perfect western sound I wanted, with the help of the band members he chose to appear on the song. I could not be happier with how this song turned out and I am proud to release it as my first release independently written song, as I have normally worked with co-writers in the past.
