This song is a protest song. All band members have been alarmed by the rise of One Nation in Australia and thought we would let our leaning be known via music. It's not a song to change someones mind, its more to take the piss out of ON supporters and maybe get them to look beyond the promise the perceive.

About the Artist

Dad Joke is a small studio band (at the moment) with a revolving lineup but constant presence of Brendon Reed who is the singer / songwriter. We are based in Brisbane and have been releasing singles as Dad Joke for around 12 months. Our sound....genre is so hard to describe but let's call it Modern Jangly Guitar rock as interpreted by Gen X musicians. Think Teenage Fanclub, Echo and the Bunnymen with a little Weezer and Vines thrown in!
