About the Artist
Australian singer-songwriter Daniel Tooze crafts heartfelt songs that blend timeless storytelling with melodic rock, acoustic warmth, and emotionally honest lyrics. His music explores love, loss, hope, resilience, and the complexities of everyday life, creating songs that resonate long after the final note.
Growing up in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, Daniel developed a deep appreciation for music and songwriting, balancing a career in business with an unwavering passion for creating authentic music. As a multi-instrumentalist and independent artist, he has built his catalogue on genuine songwriting rather than trends, believing that every song should tell a story worth remembering.
His fifth album, Under The Leafless Tree, showcases his most ambitious work to date. Featuring songs such as Hold Your Breath, Baby Mama, Green Eyes, and Stalkers Spell, the album moves effortlessly between deeply emotional ballads, infectious rock anthems, and vivid character-driven storytelling.
With plans to record at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London, Daniel continues to build an international audience while remaining proudly independent. His music is for listeners who appreciate honest lyrics, memorable melodies, and songs that capture both the beauty and imperfections of life.
