‘DANCEHEAD’ is DEVAURA'S take on the absurdity of always having to show up, perform, produce, and smile through the noise and the fear that even naming that exhaustion might be mistaken for being ungrateful or “not having what it takes”. If you have the privilege to share or consume art, do it with gusto. Do it well. “They” don’t have to get it - they’ll end up dancing or bopping their heads anyway. Says DEVAURA: “I’ve been embraced by so many, and I’m deeply grateful. But when you're present in any scene, people talk. Sometimes it’s a projection. Sometimes it’s confusion. Sometimes it’s just the static noise of being visible."
