About the Artist
Beloved Australian rock trio DMA'S are back with their self-titled new album 'DMA'S', and they’re sounding bigger than ever. Unusually for the perennial hard workers, band members Tommy O’Dell, Matt Mason, and Johnny Took stepped away for some much-deserved time out after the release of electronic-tinged 2023 record 'How Many Dreams?' to live life, and it’s paid off in spades.
With more than 250,000 album sales under their belt, 575,000,000+ streams to date, and superfans spread across Australia, the UK, the US and across the world, the new album is a chance for the band to reconnect with long-time listeners. Arriving in the same year the band celebrates the 10-year anniversary of their seismic debut 'Hills End', this new record is in some ways a return to the soaring ballads that made their debut album so impactful.
New album track 'Emailz' is playing now on Local Sounds Radio. The band says, "It's about sort of struggling with long distance relationships, which can happen when you live in the southern hemisphere."
