Being on the short end of a one-sided relationship. When even the smallest things keep you invested, because maybe eventually they'll love you fully in return, but you can't keep it running on that little. Can't keep it running on pocket change. Written with fellow Nashville artist, Ro South, "Pocket Change" is a moody bluesy folk-rock song that carries listeners through the acceptance that something isn't going to work.
About the Artist
Drew White is an Electric Storyteller from Birmingham, Alabama. His music career began in Greenville, SC, following the footsteps of artists like NEEDTOBREATHE and Marcus King, as he learned to command the stage and hone his high-energy showmanship. Since then he has been accoladed by WhiskeyRiff, the International Songwriting Competition, the Unsigned Only Awards, and been selected to share the stage with national touring acts like Tommy Prine, BabyJake, Cassandra Coleman, and Thunderstorm Artis. 2026 has seen the release of his heavy-hitting new single, "Pocket Change," and his first headline tour throughout the Southeastern United States.
