Ahead of his new EP CROSSROADS releasing on July 10 via Sony Music Australia, Dylan Wright has shared another cut from the record titled ‘ESCAPE TO THE OTHER SIDE’.
Of the new single, Dylan says “This song came from feeling overwhelmed but still refusing to give up. It’s about chasing clarity, meaning and a version of yourself that finally feels free.”
CROSSROADS will also feature some previously released singles; the reflective, glowy lead single ‘THOSE NIGHTS’ and the unflinchingly honest ‘CROOKED ROAD’.
Speaking on this new body of work, Dylan says “CROSSROADS is the space between who I was and who I’m becoming. It’s a collection of songs about times I nearly broke, it’s me reflecting on the past and looking inwardly, but overall it’s about how I didn’t give up on myself.”
CROSSROADS is the follow up to 2024’s Half A World Away, which debuted at #1 on the ARIA Country Album Chart and earned Dylan his first ARIA Award nomination last year for Best Country Album.
