About the Artist

Hi, I'm fjordie, an emerging artist from Brisbane/Magandjin. My earliest memories are filled with music, and I've channelled a love of sound and composition since the moment I could talk. I've been formally producing and releasing music under a variety of stage names since 2019, with my current, and most successful project, fjordie, officially kicking off in 2025. Those who know me would describe me as a kaleidoscope of sound, as I'm obsessed with diegetic sound, build everything I hear in my head into my tracks, and write in a wide variety of genres. I started releasing music as fjordie in the indie rock realm, though I'm starting to lean towards an alt-pop landscape with lush vocals, driving bass lines, and a balance of guitar foundations with synth features.
