About this Song

Cinnamon Whiskey is a fiery, emotionally charged breakup track built around a vivid metaphor inspired by a man’s favourite drink of choice. At its core, it exposes the reality of an immature relationship, where someone keeps you close enough to control, but never truly shows up when it matters. It captures the push and pull of falling for someone uncommitted, caught between wanting you and pushing you away.

About the Artist

GENEVIEVE is a Sydney based indie/pop artist crafting emotionally driven songs that balance intimacy with expansive sound. Known for her ethereal harmonies and raw lyricism, she blends the cinematic pull of Billie Eilish and Lorde with the punch of Olivia Rodrigo and MAY-A, to capture the emotional complexity of young adulthood. Her upcoming releases mark a new chapter, transforming the poetry once confined to her notes into an immersive, fully realised project that is unmistakably her own.
