An atmospheric indie-pop track with an 80s/90s-rooted sound, 'Honey' is a nostalgic reflection on youth, friendship, and the heady freedom of student life. Set at Oxford University, where Jon himself read PPE from 1988 to 1990, the song draws on memories of a specific and privileged world but taps into more universal themes: the sense of believing your life hasn't properly started yet. It contrasts youthful confidence and intellectual ambition with the humour, romance, and recklessness of being young. The recurring image of college bells evokes the quiet passage of time.
Rather than mourning fleeting days, 'Honey' reframes them as the unrealised beginnings of lives that hadn't yet started.
'Honey' is released as an EP alongside previous singles, 'Wake', 'Beach', and 'Ghost'.

A lifelong musician with a deep love for genres ranging from pop and rock to country, classical, and jazz, Jon brings a wide musical vocabulary into everything he creates. His primary instrument is the keyboards, where he crafts melodies that feel instantly familiar yet distinctly his own.
