Kiara Castagna is an emerging indie pop singer songwriter, based between Sydney and the Illawarra. Inspired by the authenticity and emotional expression of live performance, Kiara has pursued her passion for music since singing at age 7. Her passion stemmed into a newfound love for songwriting and attention to lyricism which weaved the intricacies of personal experiences in hopes to resonate with others. Kiara has grown her love of music through teaching herself piano and guitar, later expanding her practice into studying music at university. In August 2026, Kiara released her debut single, ‘How Long Will It Take’, fuses heartfelt ballad sensibilities with pop‑rock edge. She builds versatile arrangements and intricate vocal textures that celebrate the beauty of perfect imperfections. Her songwriting balances the evocative emotional lyricism of Olivia Rodrigo and narrative‑driven landscapes of Renee Rapp and Billie Eilish translating overwhelming thought processes and raw vulnerability into immersive, intentional storytelling.
