My Little Pirate is a dark pop / electro track - moody and emotional and made to drown in while dancing. Written from the perspective of a siren pleading with her lover, a former drinker, to stay sober through hard times no matter how strongly the drink calls to him, the song explores the fear, love and helplessness that comes with watching someone you care about struggle with alcohol.
The release will be accompanied by a professionally filmed music video, featuring a siren dancing among the wind and crashing waves of Sydney's coast.
