The track is a very instrumental driven song. The vocals support the beautiful tones & chords through verses but for our choruses, we let the music do the talking. It is one that we consider a bit bittersweet, as it tells the story of a slowburner type relationship full of uncertainty and questions that never truly took off. It lingers in self doubt & the use of metaphorical language, discussing that it was slow, and beautiful, yet bittersweet.

OUT OF FOCUS are a 3-piece alternative rock band from Newcastle, NSW. Since forming back in early 2025, the band continues to develop their sound, blending the punch of modern rock with the nuance of indie. Their sound thrives on contrast. Heavy, driving riffs collide with introspective, melodic moments. Loud without losing feeling, vulnerable without losing edge, they deliver raw energy both on record and on stage.
