“Do I Do” is the dynamically groovin’ first track from drummer/producer Paul Hannah’s latest album from Green Hill Music - “Knocks Me Off of my Feet: A Jazz Tribute to the music of Stevie Wonder.” Performed in the Cuban style of Songo, the track features legendary NYC saxophonist Aaron Heick in the lead, with support from NYC icon, Tony Kadleck on trumpet!
Also playing are: Dr Tyrone Jackson, piano and Sam Kurzontkowski, bass. “Do I Do” features an imaginative interpretation of Stevie’s brilliant melody with a jazz sensibility. Recorded live in the studio, the interplay and musicality are off the charts! This track is a terrific opener to a strong, powerful and playful album to be released in full on 8/21/26.
