About this Song

Julie is about a time in my life where I was living with a group of friends from all over the world... and coping with the emotional fallout as they left to go elsewhere! Julie was the first of my friends to go and so I wrote the line "send me a postcard, Julie and expanded the song from there. As the song says, I my sadness eventually faded and I changed my feelings to gratitude for having really great friends to miss.
