About this Song

Back to the Flame, from my debut EP All Kinds of Weather, blends indie-folk and pop with a touch of rock influence. It’s about someone so compelling you’d do anything they say, and the feeling of being completely under their spell—no matter how many times you try to walk away, you’re pulled back in over and over again. It was recorded in Brisbane with production, backing vocals, guitar, and piano by Faith Kayrooz, mixed by Cormac Finn, mastered by Paul Blakey and lyrics, composition and vocals by Stelle. Drums by Hayden White and bass by Gerry Jaimes.

About the Artist

At just 21, Stelle is carving out her place in the Australian music scene with honest songwriting and a captivating live presence. From Queensland’s Scenic Rim, Stelle is crafting genre-blending pop inspired by Maisie Peters, Holly Humberstone and Lizzy McAlpine. She has supported Lyric, Aleksiah, Jenny Mitchell and Sam McMeekin, and performed at Long Sunset Festival and QMF’s Taste of Country. "Back To The Flame" is currently charting #13 on America’s Abreak Music Top 58 radio playlist and has received positive feedback from Triple J staff with a 4/5 star review. Stelle has just recently released her debut EP "All Kinds of Weather."
