About This Song
The story of the song in some sense is autobiographical and self deprecatory in parts, and at the same time makes observations and aspersions upon others who the character sees their weaknesses in him. It weaves patterns of life in my world which was mostly in China and then tries to make sense of this through circumstances i found myself in back in Australia and yet at the same time remain divorced of everything and thrust the whole seeming conundrum on the cut out character Nobody Joe. Nobody Joe was essentially a character i invented for the album Twobitsville in Aug 24 and who would reside within my lyrics over the years as a character of intent, but lacking in skills to finish anything off or make a success of his life. I'm Steve Blaque and have evolved into a recording artist having spent many years performing in China (various cities) I released two albums in 2014 and 2015 built off the back of the constant performing during that time, I'm now in St Marys Tas on the east coast and run a small studio where i write compose record mix and master my own music, and music of others in the area. My latest Album comes as the first of 3 for the months of Jan through May 26. I"m excited about this album and can't wait to produce the next two.
