I Feel Confused

About the Artist

Tailwhip is an alternative rock band from Bintaro, Indonesia, a suburban area on the edge of Jakarta. We describe our sound as “Suburban Music”: songs shaped by friendship, complicated love, late-night conversations, familiar streets, and the anxiety of growing up. Our music blends alternative rock, punk, and indie pop, carrying emotional vocals, energetic guitars, and a restless but vulnerable feeling. Our latest single, “I Feel Confused,” explores the quiet confusion after heartbreak, when something is over but memories, habits, and false hope still keep returning. As a band, we want to document the emotional world of Indonesian suburban youth and bring Bintaro’s stories into a wider alternative music landscape.
