"Every Day Is a Nightmare" opens with the blunt diagnosis "there's something wrong”, then sends you crawling through jungle, rubble and buried body parts. The wiry groove gathers momentum and when the chorus arrives “every day is a nightmare, honey” it’s too melodic to remain a complaint. The line repeats until it becomes a mantra and - suddenly you're singing along. There's no identifiable monster here, and yet just like life, you have to dance with it right behind you. Groove through the horror of the every day with Teenage Bees.
