Rhyolite

About the Artist

Western Australian alt-country/Americana group, The Stumblers, return with ‘Rhyolite’, an atmospheric and cinematic single that steps out of the living room and into the vast expanse of the Nevada desert. Known for their witty, upbeat duets inspired by 60s and 70s country icons like Loretta Lynn, Conway Twitty, Gram Parsons, and The Byrds, The Stumblers showcase a darker, more reflective side on their latest release. ‘Rhyolite’ paints a vivid musical picture of the famous Nevada ghost town, a once-thriving city now reduced to sand, stone, and memory. The track captures the stark isolation, quiet emptiness, and introspective mood of a strange, desolate desert landscape.
