About the Artist

The Vegas Pigeon's : an Independent Melbourne based Australian alternative rock band blending post-punk and new-wave influence with melodic, emotionally driven songwriting. Our latest track, “Keep running”, leans into sharp guitars, anxious melodies, restrained chaos. It’s a focused, guitar-driven release built for listeners who like their hooks a little rough around the edges. This particular song was written out of not knowing how to deal with grief and trying to find a way forward in dealing with the loss of someone close, the style and sound was completely organic and was composed in quite a free flowing manner. ffo alternative rock & new wave drawing influences from Nirvana, the Beatles, the Cure, Millencolin, Bodyjar, Powderfinger, Silverchair to name a few, the full list of influences would be longer than a dunny roll to be honest. The track was just released and is streaming everywhere & most of the proceeds from the physical copies being still being manufactured are being donated to the Black Dog Institute in support of men's mental health services and advocacy.
