Project Zero

About This Song
ADELAIDE based ambient post-rock project WE SEE MOONS have released their third single “Project Zero”. The song is about humanity's ever present need to build, produce and invent - and at times this leads to our detriment and ultimately our demise. It contains excerpts from President Dwight D. Eisenhower's iconic "Atoms of Peace" speech, delivered to the UN General Assembly on December 8 1953. 70 years on we are still dealing with the same issues. Project Zero is fast upbeat and aims to highlight a different side of We See Moons - more progressive. Dance like rhythms with layered guitars and pulsating bass throughout. We See Moons is an ambient post-rock project out of Adelaide SA. Founded by multi-instrumentalist Matt, the project began as an exploration of space and sound, expanding to a full band in late 2024 and playing throughout 2025. We See Moons drifts between cinematic swells and fragile stillness, with well defined melodies, blending layered guitars, rhythms, and immersive textures. Their songs explore the themes of light and dark - which is highlighted in the heaviness and ambient parts of their music.
