About the Artist
Alisa Maekinen is Brisbane based singer-songwriter. Alisa creates acoustic and alternative indie-folk-pop that leaves the listeners reflecting on their own feelings. Inspired by things such as nature, their Finnish folk music background as well as by artists such as Aurora and Pehmoaino, Alisa Maekinen delivers a unique style of music with lyrics filled with emotional depth as they write about often unspoken things. For Alisa feeling deeply isn't a weakness, and they want to encourage people to reflect on their past, present and future
