About the Artist
Blending the storytelling heart of folk with the grit of modern country, Austin Mackay is fast becoming one of Australia’s most compelling new voices. Born and raised on the east coast, his music captures a life in motion. With influences like Chris Stapleton, John Mayer, and Gregory Alan Isakov, Austin delivers songs built on raw emotion, honesty, and connection. With millions of streams and a string of heartfelt singles, Austin continues to carve out a sound that’s as grounded as it is ambitious. His songs speak to the working class, the restless, and the romantic. Hear Austin's latest release, 'Same Place, Same Time' playing now on Local Sounds Radio.
