About the Artist

Against a backdrop of uncertainty, transformation and emotional reckoning, Eliza Hull is creating the most fearless music of her career. The acclaimed Australian songwriter, musician and advocate has built a reputation for turning vulnerability into something cinematic and deeply human - writing songs that cut through with raw honesty, strength and emotional precision. Her work explores identity, womanhood, disability, desire and self-worth, delivered through a voice that feels both intimate and impossible to ignore. Recent years have marked a defining creative era for Hull. She has toured extensively throughout Australia and internationally, including a celebrated run with Sarah Blasko, while also sharing stages with artists including Dan Sultan, Jen Cloher, Maple Glider, Gordi, Clare Bowditch and Katy Steele. In 2025, Hull’s haunting reimagining of Silverchair’s Tomorrow for the television series Playing Gracie Darling drew national acclaim and caught the attention of Daniel Johns himself - introducing her artistry to an even wider audience. Hull expanded her sonic world with the release of her 2023 EP Here They Come, created alongside acclaimed producer Pip Norman and featuring collaborations with Gordi and Odette. The lead single, Running Underwater, marked the first time Hull publicly wrote about living with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disorder, which she sang live on ABC’S Q&A. Its striking music video featuring dancer ‘roya the destroya’ ignited important conversations around disability representation in music, while the EP earned recognition from Double J’s Best New Music. Beyond music, Hull has become one of Australia’s most vital voices for disability advocacy within the music industry. Just recently, she was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for her contribution to music and disability advocacy, alongside recognition through Music Victoria Awards and the Women in Music Awards. Whether performing at the Sydney Opera House, Ability Fest, Hamer Hall, BIGSOUND or selling out the Melbourne Recital Centre, Hull brings an intensity to the stage that leaves a lasting mark. Her work has also reached global audiences through performances on the BBC and ABC, appearances at SXSW Sydney, and showcases at The Great Escape Festival in the UK and SXSW Austin, Texas. With recently signing a worldwide publishing deal with Sony Music, and her songs featured across international television including Teen Wolf, Awkward, Saving Hope and The Heights, Eliza Hull continues to carve out a space entirely her own - emotionally fearless and sonically expansive.
