Jamie Rose
Jamie Rose has carved out a quietly distinctive sound, blending coastal folk with R&B in a way that feels both intimate and transportive. Raised along Australia’s East Coast, her sound soaks slow jams in salt water with a deeply personal approach to storytelling. Her breakout track Agnes Water recorded entirely on her iPhone, marked an early turning point, connecting with listeners in an unfiltered way and going on to find placements across film and television, including “After the Wedding” starring Julianne Moore and “Work in Progress”, produced by The Wachowskis. Alongside her solo work, Jamie is also one half of electronic project Rose Motion, a DJ and production duo whose releases have reached the Beatport Top 100 - Today and landed on labels including Toolroom and Night Bass. The project has earned international radio support and live performances at festivals; Rifflandia Music Festival and Escapade Music Festival. Driven by story and soul, Jamie Rose is quietly building something powerful. Song Info: “Surfers Paradise” is a love letter to Australia’s East Coast. The song explores finding peace within chaos, learning to let your guard down enough to be loved, and realizing that home isn’t always a place - it can be a feeling, a person, or a state of mind. Inspired by driving Queensland’s coastline with someone who made me feel safe, the song reflects how familiar places can take on entirely new meaning when viewed through the lens of love and healing. At its core, “Surfers Paradise” is about recognizing that you're finally healing and finding peace within yourself.
