Leah McFetridge
Bio: Leah McFetridge is a Perth-based singer and songwriter creating modern pop shaped by disco, R&B and soul influences. Her music blends groove-driven production with introspective storytelling, exploring themes of doubt, growth, self-trust and emotional clarity. Drawing inspiration from artists like Dua Lipa, Amber Mark, Victoria Monét and Sekou, her sound balances warmth, restraint and and quiet confidence. With over a decade of live performance experience, McFetridge is also known for her distinctive live vocal looping performances, creating full arrangements in real time using only her voice. Alongside her original music, she has built a reputation as a dynamic live performer across weddings, corporate events and feature performances throughout Western Australia. Her upcoming debut EP Landing, arriving July 2026, traces a year of personal and creative growth — capturing the moments between uncertainty and clarity. Through layered vocals, soulful production and emotionally grounded songwriting, McFetridge continues to establish herself as an emerging voice in Australia’s modern pop space. Song Info: “Feeling Grown” is a groove-led R&B-pop track about stepping into self-trust and letting go of past versions of yourself. Built around smooth vocals and soul-influenced production, it captures a quiet moment of clarity when you realise you’re no longer seeking validation, just choosing yourself. Produced, mixed and mastered by Calvin Bennett. Written after a date that changed how I show up in relationships, “Feeling Grown” is about a moment where things felt calmer, clearer, and more grounded. For the first time, I didn't feel like I needed to prove myself, and that's exactly what this song sounds like to me.
