About the Artist

PEPTALK are bandmates, housemates & bestmates. The trio, made up of Jay-Lee Kwan (keys), Lara Frew (bass), and Phoebe Sinclair (lead vocals), bring a comfort and confidence that only time and genuine friendship can. Self-produced and highly collaborative, the trio formed through a mutual adoration for songwriting, pop hooks and iconic women in the music industry. They have gained momentum playing a string of festivals across the Australian east coast, along with their own headline national tour in October of 2025. Their highly anticipated track “Scared To Lose” released June 26, 2026 through Community. Song Info: ‘Scared to Lose’ is about dating closeted. It’s avoidant, chaotic and somehow still lots of fun. We started writing ‘Scared To Lose’ in Los Angeles and finished it at home in Sydney. The song explores being avoidant in the midst of big feelings. We produced the track ourselves and wanted the sound to reflect the chaotic nature of the lyrics, hence tires screeching and screams screaming.
