About this Song

‘Scared to Lose’ is about dating closeted. It’s avoidant, chaotic and somehow still lots of fun. We started writing ‘Scared To Lose’ in Los Angeles and finished it at home in Sydney. The song explores being avoidant in the midst of big feelings. We produced the track ourselves and wanted the sound to reflect the chaotic nature of the lyrics, hence tires screeching and screams screaming.
