About the Artist

Boorloo/Perth indie alt-rock trio Polly return with their latest single ‘Tell Your Friends’, a follow-up to recent release ‘Doubt’, alongside the announcement of a headline tour. Continuing to carve out their place within Australia’s thriving alternative scene, the band blend raw vulnerability, driving guitars and infectious hooks into a track that captures the tension between connection and distance. Say the band of the track; “‘Tell Your Friends’ is probably one of the more direct songs on the EP. It sits in that space of knowing you should move on from someone, but still being completely tied to them anyway. There’s frustration in it, but also a lot of contradictions. The chorus says one thing while the rest of the song almost fights against it. It’s become one of our favourite songs to play live because it really opens up in those bigger moments, and we’re super excited to finally take it on the road with us.” The band will be releasing their forthcoming EP, Maybe on 17 July, and their headline tour starts the same day with a hometown show before heading to Sydney, Wollongong and Melbourne.
