About the Artist
Sleeping Wave is a new Americana tinged alt-rock duo bridging the 10,000-mile gap between Australia and Scotland. The band is comprised of Miles Fahey (Melbourne) and Simon Whitworth (Edinburgh) who originally met while working in the radio industry. Despite knowing each other for years and both having played in other bands for decades, Sleeping Wave is their first collaboration. Their music is tracked, performed, and produced by Miles in Melbourne. This solid Australian foundation is paired with Simon's evocative, Scottish-penned lyrics and driving vocals to create catchy alt-rock with touches of Americana and gritty classic rock.
