With airplay on UK radio and some early spins on Canadian radio, Sleeping Wave’s debut single is out now on all streaming platforms and Bandcamp. Operating across a 10,000-mile gap between Australia and Scotland, the duo created the track by bouncing files between Melbourne and Edinburgh. Simon (vocals/piano) tracked his vox and piano in Scotland, Miles (guitars/production) built and recorded the musical foundation in Australia, and the final project was mixed and mastered back in Edinburgh by Fin Jackson Audio. Lyric-wise, the song is a crisp charge through a lost relationship that keeps its hooks in. The result is "Cavalry"—a catchy alt-rock number with gritty shades of Americana.
