Bio: Her Name Was Fire are a heavy rock duo formed in Lisbon in 2016 by João Campos and Tiago Lopes. Built around baritone guitar, drums, and a massive low-end live setup, the band creates a sound far bigger than two people should be able to make. With two albums released and shows across Portugal and Europe, they return with Obsidian Light, a direct five-track EP written and produced with a fully DIY spirit between Lisbon and Helsinki. It is one of the EP’s most direct and aggressive tracks, built on fuzzed-out baritone guitar, driving drums, and a raw punk-tinged energy.
