About the Artist
Shitzulover07 hits rewind on glossy dance-pop rush with new single ‘REPLAY’.
Gearing up for their forthcoming EP ‘PARTY MONSTER’, the new single is a nostalgic but modern dance-pop track made for car speakers, house parties, and that specific kind of obsession you only admit to once the night gets loud enough.
Blending late 2000s and early 2010s pop energy with 2020s hyper-pop maximalist production, ‘REPLAY’ captures the thrill of wanting a moment to loop forever. “I wanted it to feel like something you’d hear blasting from a car or at a house party and instantly know all the words,” she says.
Driven by glossy, Y2K-inspired production and big pop hooks, ‘REPLAY’ sits in the sweet spot between polished and a little bit messy. It is the kind of track that feels uncomplicated on first listen, then you catch the darker production edge underneath, the signature Shitzulover07 collision of pop songwriting and “darker, slightly trashy club production”.
The single offers a bright entry point into Shitzulover07’s upcoming EP, where she promises things get “a lot darker, dirtier and more experimental in places”. If the rest of the record leans into grime and risk, ‘REPLAY’ is the sugar-hit, a high-glam flash of nostalgia with bite, built from the pop world she grew up on and reworked
into her own.
Her sound and visual universe pulls from “the internet, old pop culture, club music, fashion and the music videos I grew up watching”, anchored in an era when pop was excessive, glamorous, and unapologetically larger than life. That influence has already helped shape standout moments, including the release of her album TILL
DEATH DO US PART, support from Triple J and Mixmag, and recent independent wins like ‘DIRTY’ passing 100k streams.
With ‘REPLAY’, Shitzulover07 keeps sharpening her world: bold, glossy, a little darkat the edges, and engineered to stick.
