The Phosphenes are the unapologetic voice of a new generation of alt-rockers. Raised on a steady diet of 90s pop culture, grunge, and garage rock, the band formed in early 2022 when three 14- and 16-year-olds decided to swap teenage boredom for distortion pedals and dive bar stages.
