About the Artist

‘Where?’ is a story of recognition, dismissal, and re-emergence. A love-letter to every Australian songwriter, musician, or performer who has blown-up, or disappeared, then rediscovered the fire to re-emerge. Since re-locating from Erskineville, Sydney to South Coast NSW Meroo Meadow, Andrew & Lissa, together with Bomaderry local Neil Foley (Old Haunts), have crafted a striking set of original songs. As a reflection of their new surroundings and their past and present local experiences, the songs are sprinkled with the advocacy of uncomfortable truths. Born in Mexico City, Lissa, alongside American-born Andrew, are fully naturalized Australians since 2000. Today they emerge from a deeply personal South Coast metamorphosis, vigilant of its beauty and its First Nation history. Having released 4 indie singles since 2024 with 300k combined video views on YouTube, 7 new tracks (including ‘Where?’) are being completed for a full-length vinyl artifact in Spring 2026.
